I am currently a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at KTH Stockholm in the in-vitro neural systems lab of Prof. Anna Herland, leading the development of sensor-integrated, PDMS-free, hiPSC co-culture models of the neurovascular unit. As I am wrapping up my projects at KTH, I am looking for new research and leadership opportunities for 2021.
I envision a future where we widely use microtechnology not only to analyze the immense complexity of biological systems, but also for bi-directional interaction. I hope to leverage my experience – covering microsystems (from labs-on-chips to organs-on-chips), bioelectrochemistry, and stem cell engineering – to bring this future closer to fruition, with a continued focus on nitrosative stress and the under-served field of neuropsychiatric disorders.
If your group or institute offers opportunities in these (or related) areas, I would very much appreciate an opportunity to talk!
My qualifications include a truly multidisciplinary & international background, a strong history of obtaining research funding & managing research projects, and an extensive record of undergraduate & graduate student supervision and teaching.
